Camera movement and editing.

CAMERA MOVEMENT;

0.05 - 0.09: Pan:

This pan looks from a lower angle at a thing that seems to be an interactive piece of glass to a character. The speed of this pan shows that something important but not urgent is happening. Also the angle that the shot is moving onto someone important with a status of power.

0.13 - 0.16: Handheld:

This handheld shot, and the shakiness of it shows that the current situation the actors and characters are in is quite urgent and important but also builds up suspense to get the characters more interested.

1.05 - 1.13: Crane:

This camera movement follows the action whilst also maintaining a smooth and not rigid look. This smoothness shows the professionalism I'm this scene which contrasts withe the mise-en-scene as the setting that this scene is set in is quite urban and gives off unsafe alleyway vibes.

EDITING ASPECTS;

At the start on the extract the editing is quite slow meaning that the clips are long cut happen every 8-10 seconds on average and the pace is quite slow. This is good to build up tension in the play suggesting that something bad or fast paced will soon happen.

Near the end the editing is quite fast paced reaching an average of a second near the end of the clip which is quite fast and this shows the audience that not only the clips are fast but also the speed of actions at which thing are happening is also fast and that's why editing is so important as it reflects what is happening.

SHOTS AND CAMERA ANGLES;

1.24: This is a low camera angle that shows the audience the power of both of these characters however because of the angle Tom Cruise looks more overpowering than the police officer which suggests that Tom Cruise is going to run away from the police man. This shot is also a medium shot showing that both the characters expressions and the rough, gritty background.

0.22: This is an over the shoulder shot showing part of the news paper that the character is holding but also the urban environment/setting of the train that the character is sitting in. From the slightly higher camera angle you can tell that something is about to go wrong for the character.
